Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Former SoHo Pad Lists for $4.7M

The minimalist space consists of two corner units designed by famed Italian architect and designer Claudio Silvestrin.

While its name might sound ordinary, residence 4BC at 25 West Houston Street is anything but that. For years, the one-bedroom apartment served as the Manhattan residence of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. At the time, the minimalist space was also showcased in Vogue and Elle Décor.

To create the one-bedroom space, West originally combined a studio and a two-bedroom unit, collaborating with notable minimalist architect and designer Claudio Silvestrin to complete the project. In 2018, Kim and Kanye sold the apartment in an off-market deal for a reported $3,000,000. One year later, the 2,427-square-foot space is seeking a new buyer—this time for $4,700,000.

The home’s open kitchen is anchored by a striking stone island. The space features pearwood cabinetry, limestone flooring, Subzero and Miele appliances, and a custom Gaggenau cooktop.

Located on the fourth floor of a nine-story building in SoHo’s landmark district, the home is a tranquil oasis within the bustling Big Apple. Thirteen oversized windows usher in soft, natural light, while also framing picturesque city views to the north and east.

The open layout creates a large space for entertaining—the dining room flows seamlessly into the large living room area. Carefully hidden storage is peppered throughout the interiors—including cabinetry along the walls underneath each window.

A second stone island can be found in the master bathroom—the first of several areas in the master suite. Radiant floor heating, custom lighting, and stone-tiled walls set the atmosphere.

Residence 4BC at 25 West Houston St. is currently listed for $4,700,000 by Emily Beare of CORE.
