CetraRuddy’s Rose Hill Surpasses The Halfway Mark In NoMad

New York Yimby // Oct 30, 2019

Construction on Rose Hill, aka 30 East 29th Street, has passed the halfway mark. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, the 45-story NoMad skyscraper will stand out from the growing number of residential towers in the neighborhood with its dark-colored, Art Deco-inspired façade made of tall glass panels, terraces, and etched metal panels. Developed by Rockefeller Group, Rose Hill will eventually top out at 639 feet tall and have 123 condominiums marketed by CORE Real Estate.

A portion of the façade can be seen in the photo below. The dark color will strike a contrast against the sky and the surrounding light-colored edifices.

Rose Hill’s distinctive design will be further enhanced at night, when its multi-level crown will be illuminated with upward-pointing spotlights aligned with the tight row of perimeter columns on all four sides of the structure.

Completion of Rose Hill is most likely expected sometime in the first half of 2021. At the current pace of construction, the structure could top out within the first half of 2020.
