Tom and Gisele Buying $20M Waterfront Tribeca Pad

New York Post // Aug 01, 2016

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are strengthening their ties to New York by buying a $20 million-plus apartment in a waterfront Tribeca building, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The Patriots QB and his supermodel wife are in contract to buy a five-bedroom pad at 70 Vestry, a luxury Robert A.M. Stern-designed building overlooking the Hudson River.

We’re told Tom and Gisele’s 5,000-square-foot apartment, with a sprawling terrace, is on a high floor and offers stunning views of Manhattan. The power couple was attracted to the building because of the privacy, sources say, as residents can enter by driving into a covered porte-cochère entrance.

The 14-story building also features an 82-foot lap pool, studios for cycling, yoga and pilates, a squash court, a sauna and a steam room.

Tom and Gisele — who modestly didn’t go for the top $65 million penthouse in the building — currently own an apartment at the towering One Madison in Flatiron, but are expected to move out of that space once construction at 70 Vestry is complete in 2018.

The couple will join Tribeca celebrity residents including Taylor Swift, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Brady’s ex Bridget Moynahan and their son, Jack.

A spokesperson for 70 Vestry owners Related Companies didn’t comment. Reps for Tom and Gisele didn’t get back to us.
