Take a Look Inside Kanye West’s Former New York City Home, On the Market For $4.7 Million

Highsnobiety // Sep 19, 2019

Following the purchase of a sprawling $14 million ranch in Cody, Wyoming and just days before the release of his next album, Jesus is King, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West’s former New York City home has hit the market. Although Kim and Kanye owned the apartment for many years, the couple sold the apartment to its current owner in 2018. Located in Manhattan’s famed SoHo neighborhood, specifically at 25 West Houston Street, the unit was designed by renowned architect Claudio Silvestrin.

According to Town & Country, the 2,427-square-foot space is a combination of two units on the building’s fourth floor and includes one bedroom and two bathrooms (one of which is a powder room).

Like the austere interior of West’s Calabasas home, his former New York residence features stone islands in the bathroom and kitchen, French limestone flooring, and an earthy color palette.

Further details include a home automation system by Savant, with automated window shades, custom lighting and audio wired throughout. There is of course also a 24-hour doorman and a landscaped rooftop deck with 360-degree views of downtown Manhattan.

The current staging of the condo was done by ASH NYC, while CORE’s Emily Beare has the listing for a cool $4.7 million, a reasonable ask considering her other properties fetch up to nearly $20 million.
