Red Hook’s new townhouse development King & Sullivan shows off its model home

Curbed // Sep 27, 2017

Two years after sales got underway on Red Hook’s swanky townhouse development, King & Sullivan, the developer is now offering us a look inside the model home for the project.

When the development’s 22 townhouses came on the market in September 2015, they were asking $2.65 million and upwards. Just one week after sales launched, half of them had already gone into contract. So far, five have sold, 18 are in contract, and four remain.

The four townhouses range in price from $3.08 million and go up to $3.41 million. All the townhouses have four bedrooms, and architecture firm AA Studio created five different facades for the townhouses in materials like terra cotta, corten steel, and brick.

We got a first look at the interior renderings for this project in the summer of 2015, and while they’re pretty similar to their real life avatars, Laurie Messman from staging firm Two Blu Ducks, chose a brighter palate while modeling the townhouse.

This Sanba-developed project was first announced in January 2015, but it wasn’t until April 2016 that construction actually got underway. The project has been making steady progress since. Some residents have already moved in, but construction on the overall project will wrap this November.
