Not only is it a celebrity home, but the design savvy stars are offering it for only $800,000 and will even throw in all the current furnishings for an additional price. It’s not every day a dreamy apartment in this coveted Manhattan neighborhood comes on the market for under $1 million, and it is especially rare to get the chance to live in Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent’s designs.

With only one bedroom and one bath, the light-filled unit is just the right size to be a pied-à-terre or a full-time residence for people who don’t care for many visitors. Perched in a circa-1900 brownstone on East 12th Street, there is plenty of historic charm to go around, but the perfectly balanced contemporary interiors make spaces fresh for modern living.
