107 Terrace Place Sets a Neighborhood Record

New York Daily News //January 30, 2014

Known for his in-depth knowledge of all things Brooklyn, Doug Bowen made headlines this week after closing on his exclusive listing at 107 Terrace Place. Located in Brooklyn’s Windsor Terrace neighborhood, the 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhouse recently closed for $1.98 million, setting a record in the increasingly popular area.  The New York Daily News was the first to cover the deal, stating that “the previous record in Windsor Terrace was for a traditional limestone townhouse at 18 Sherman Place, which sold for $1.9 million in 2007.”  Known for its suburban feel and local hotspots, Doug anticipates the trend toward Windsor Terrace continuing at a steady rate, especially considering the explosive popularity of Brooklyn. “When a typical brownstone is going for $3 million and even $4 million now, it’s going to push people to Windsor Terrace, and it’s going to push up the prices in Windsor Terrace,” he says.
