Twice a year, Manhattan celebrates an event known as Manhattanhenge when the sun sets in alignment with the east-west grid of the Big Apple. Tonight at 8:16pm make sure not to miss the bright glow coming from the west side along the Hudson River. Prime viewing spots include 14th, 23rd, 34th, 42nd, and 57th Streets. According to the American Museum of Natural History, the special event will also take place on July 12th.
