The Selby and CORE Are In Your Neighborhood

Matched with a series of one-of-a-kind illustrations created by New York’s Todd Selby, we are thrilled to share 12 whimsical New York City neighborhood profiles. Remind yourself that a little frivolous fun is the key to happiness as you reintroduce yourself to NYC’s favorite landmarks to stop, shop and eat.

The fresh, suggestive interpretations appeal to the imagination, rather than showcase yet another photography series of notable New Yorkers. From tulips on Park Avenue, to The High Line and Katz’s pastrami on rye, the drawings celebrate the city – and not just the wonderful people in it.

“One of my favorite things about living in NYC is how you can walk everywhere and feel all the different vibes happening. For this CORE project, I cruised from the Financial District to Uptown and made a list of the things that I saw that seemed iconic to the different neighborhoods. I did it in a totally unscientific and random way, and stumbled on some awesome finds,” said Todd Selby.

This sensibility reminds us not only why we love the city, but also why New York is undoubtedly the greatest city in the world.

“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Todd Selby. His illustrations perfectly capture the local experience of each neighborhood, while conveying discovery, wit and irreverence all at once,” said Elizabeth Kosich, Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy. “This approach is unconventional for real estate, which makes it pitch perfect for CORE.”

As we continue to trail blaze the terrain that is real estate marketing, we hope you’ll join us for a neighborhood tour that visits memorable destinations from Manhattan’s most desirable zip codes. To check out CORE x The Selby please visit our Places tab or follow #corextheselby on social media.
