Drawing crowds of thousands to the sunny Miami Beach strip, this year’s Art Basel plays host to nearly 300 international galleries, showcasing the finest in modern art. This week, CORE’s own Michael Rubin and Patrick Mills attended the renowned art show, taking in the sights of the different events and exhibits. “I enjoy coming to Art Basel because I love the emerging art that is featured here,” said Patrick. “Additionally, I meet the most incredible people from all over. As an artist myself, I find inspiration from the expressiveness and diversity of the art and the people involved.” Considered one of the world’s premier art showcases, the event attracted several notable celebrities, such as Alex Rodriguez, Heidi Klum, Russell Crowe and Lindsay Lohan, among others.
