With a lifelong passion for all things New York, it should come as no surprise that Lisa Blumencranz’s favorite room is a New York City staple.
What is your favorite room? My backyard.
Why is it your favorite room? My apartment is a loft so choosing a favorite room is sort of difficult. I enjoy my time there immensely, but the place where I feel most at home is on the river. I live directly across the street from Hudson River Park and as far as I’m concerned, this is my backyard.
What do you like to do most in this room? It’s where I go to think, relax, workout, take long walks, listen to the water, see the sun rise and set and just sit and watch the people go by.
What is one unique or distinctive feature from this room? There is something very intimate about being out there. Among all of the beauty are all of the strangers. Only, they aren’t strangers at all. They are my neighbors.
In one word, how would you describe this room? Inspiring.
