As a Manhattan resident for over 16 years, Adrian Noriega has learned the difference between a good room and a great room. Having worked in real estate for almost as long, it’s no wonder that his favorite room is light and bright.
What is your favorite room? My living room.
Why is it your favorite room? The living room opens up to the kitchen where my partner, Daniel, enjoys cooking. After a long day of work, it’s a great place to come play with Bentley, my miniature schnauzer, while catching up with Daniel.
What do you like to do most in this room? On weekend mornings, we often spread out the morning paper and leisurely drink our coffee with light jazz playing in the background. It’s the perfect retreat from the fast pace of the city and our hectic jobs.
What is one unique or distinctive feature from this room? The expansive windows overlooking West 57th Street. We have North/East exposure that fills the room with natural light throughout the day. The shades in the living room are rarely ever down–the light and views are just incredible.
In one word, how would you describe this room? Home.
