On Friday, June 25th, Downtown Magazine held a photo shoot for their upcoming fall issue at 23 Downing Street in Greenwich Village. The high-fashion shoot – brought to life by photographer Haley Ballard, Fashion and Beauty Editor Whitney Michel, hairstylist Ezel Mustafa, makeup artist Natalie Miller and models AJ and Esther Havenaar – perfectly captured the elegance and glamour of the downtown townhouse property. Previously the site of evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, the shoot highlights the private home’s versatility.
The center of attention, 23 Downing Street is a unique, 3,700-square-foot, single-family residence that boasts five-floors and 900 exterior square feet, including a private garden and rooftop terrace. Originally built in the early 19th century, this re-mastered home personified old world charm, while also offering modern amenities, professional-grade appliances and state-of-the-art technology.
