Who is the living person you most admire? My parents (it’s a tie).

Who is the most interesting New Yorker you know? My father.

What is your earliest New York memory? Playing in my father’s office in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?  “You can’t change them, you can only change how you react to them”.

What do you consider your greatest achievement so far? Making a big career change after 15+ years in a different industry.

What are your three most treasured possessions? A bookshelf that’s stayed with me since childhood, a painting done by my mother and my cat (she may possess me, actually).

Name a movie, book or work of art that changed your life. Cinema Paradiso introduced me to the world of foreign films.

What’s your greatest extravagance? Extravagance is anything with white truffles.

What’s your secret talent? Finishing the Sunday Times puzzle, in ink.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “Oy vey”.
