Agent Insight: Time Out Readers Pick Top Neighborhoods

Agent Insight // Feb 13, 2018

Time Out New York polled their readers to find the best neighborhoods in the city. The results? People love the West Village, calling it “charming and beautiful.” We asked some CORE agents to explain what makes the West Village and other neighborhoods come out on top for their clients.

West Village
Steve Snider
“The West Village is a true neighborhood where you can watch kids get on the school bus, street park your car and have daily street corner dog meet-ups. There is just something so idyllic about the brownstones and the tree-lined cobble stone streets. When you make your way to the West Village you know that you are home.”

Listing in the West Village: 92 Horatio St. 1S

East Village
Todd Lewin
“This is the only authentic neighborhood left downtown without new construction on every corner. You’ll find the best food thanks to small joints and local spots everywhere.”

Listing in the East Village: 311 East 11th St. 4E

Upper West Side
Lori Ben-Ari
“The Upper West Side is not only fantastic because it is sandwiched between two major parks and has two subway lines running through its half-mile width but it’s also rich with culture thanks to the neighborhood’s proximity to Lincoln Center and two historical museums. It’s also worth noting that the UWS boasts numerous food markets, luxury shopping and residents that are down to earth and friendly.”

Listing on the Upper West Side: 245 West 99th St. 9A
