About Andrew
Cleverly referred to as the “business mensch,” Andrew Farber joins CORE as one of the leading real estate professionals in New York City. With a sophisticated approach to real estate services, Andrew is well-versed in all things New York. Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, Andrew lived, studied and worked in Western Europe and traveled around the world extensively, making him a truly cultured cosmopolitan. Multilingual and multicultural, Andrew prides himself on being dedicated when it comes to representing the needs of his clients.
After studying economics in Germany, Andrew built his own successful businesses in direct marketing and international trade but ultimately, the American Dream brought him to New York. Andrew began his career in real estate by spearheading the rental-to-condominium conversion of his own building, heading up negotiations on behalf of 120 tenants; a fifteen-month process that served as the ultimate education in condo conversions. Very few others share such in-depth knowledge of the conversion process.
Since 1996, established New Yorkers as well as international clientele have entrusted their most important real estate transactions to Andrew. Among other avenues of expertise, he specializes in condos, coops, townhouses, landlord representation, lease assignments and tax-free exchanges. His deep understanding of the New York market and the financial and legal issues involved have created a group of loyal clients that has also mushroomed into an impressive referral network.
To better serve sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants and investors, Andrew founded a separate company to take care of their real estate needs beyond the established boundaries of a brokerage. Staffed by a team of dedicated professionals, the company manages properties for individual owners and offers complete renovation services, interior design and more.
Andrew is a broker’s broker and enjoys sharing his vast knowledge with others in person and at educational events affiliated with the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
For an intelligent, sophisticated view of the New York market and to get all your real estate deals done, you need to make no other phone call.
