Google-Neighboring Chelsea Condo Hits 75 Percent Sold

The rental-turned-condo building at 305 West 16th Street has done a lot to counteract its Death Star reputation, but the tractor beam still works. The building has hit the 75 percent sold and in contract mark as of this week. The building’s most recent apartment to enter contract was #6D, which we hear will be, at an ask of $2.4 million, the most expensive deal to date. All of the buildings’ model units have moved into the sold column, so there’s also a newly-decorated model, the $1.35 million #2E. Depicted above, complete with artfully tossed blanket over the bed.
