This year marks a major milestone for CORE – our 10 year anniversary. While we eagerly look forward to the future, we’d be remiss not to reflect on the past. In this series, CORE Founder and CEO Shaun Osher shares his insights on how the industry and CORE have evolved from 2005 to today, and everything in between.

One of the first initiatives I took when I started CORE ten years ago was to create a culture of transparency. Firstly, within our company. We have an environment and culture where the knowledge we bring to the table as individuals helps us grow as a team. By sharing and collaborating, we learn and grow, which ultimately allows us to service our clients better and become more successful.

Secondly, we continue to lead initiatives to bring more transparency within our industry. As one example, having been the first brokerage to embrace and support Streeteasy, almost ten years ago, we have helped revolutionize the role of the agent by shifting the power of information to the consumer. This has crystalized our role as consultant, advisor, and marketer. And more recently, we continue to spearhead open forum conversations and panels with our agents to improve our industry.

Transparency is a necessary component of growth, which is why we continue to remain committed to its spirit.
