“This was a multi-family house that was then renovated into a single-family home. They kept the façade, but then the rest of the house was a complete gut renovation. They completely recreated the space. They built in a skylight and then they put in a beautiful open staircase that looks like a work of art in the middle of the house. The light just flows down throughout the entire house. The workmanship was beautiful, as well as the materials used. Everything was very organic; it just felt very natural. And even though it was very modern, it had a very warm feel to it. It was a nice juxtaposition of having this old façade with a modern feel. I think that was a unique balance to achieve.
