Testimonials

"I’ve been a NoMad owner and resident for 12+ years and I’m working now with Matt on the purchase of a condominium in a complicated “rental-to-condominium-conversion” here in the very heart of NoMad. I’m now in contract before closing. While I find Matt to be an expert on the Manhattan residential real estate market as a whole, I chose to work with him because he has the expertise and knowledge of this wonderful neighborhood that comes only from being dedicated to working - and living here in Flatiron / NoMad. My recent purchase was complex in many ways and therefore it was important to have someone on my team dedicated and working hard to get this to the finish line. Matt is professional, diligent, and trustworthy and brought insights and coached me along the way, for which I’m grateful. Like any New Yorker worth his weight in salt, I’m a residential real estate buff and I found a partner in crime with Matt."

- Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

"It was not until working with Matt to locate my Washington Square Park residence that I realized the value that a skilled sales professional adds to the home buying process in New York City. His precision, can-do attitude, and his large and diverse network drove results that I would not have experienced with anyone else. Matt takes time to understand neighborhoods and the people that live and thrive in and around those communities. He understands - and expertly navigates - the quantitative and qualitative measures that are needed to be successful in the most competitive landscape."

- Executive Director, Global Fashion & Retail, The Hearst Men’s Group

"Matt Wallace is one of the best real estate brokers I know. My family was looking to rent our apartment several years ago and he found a great long term rental in a few weeks. When we finally decided to sell, he found a competitive buyer within days. Matt is attentive, intelligent, and compassionate. He cares about his clients and has become our go to real estate agent in New York City and the Hamptons."

- Director of Business Development, FORT L.P.

"I cannot even express how incredible Matt was during our relocation from Washington, D.C. to the New York area. My husband and I were overwhelmed with the many options, which was only made worse by our lack of familiarity with the city -- we simply didn't know where to start. Matt took the time to help us figure out the locations that would be best for us and our young family, and then spent countless hours looking at specific properties that matched our criteria. Additionally, because he was so helpful with our relocation, we have now asked him to help us determine a way to get into the Long Island City real estate market ahead of Amazon's arrival. His guidance, knowledge, and patience has been invaluable to us, and we are so excited about working with him on this new project."

- Chief Operating Officer & Interim CEO at American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition

"Matt was a tremendous help to my girlfriend and I when we were trying to lock down our new apartment in Brooklyn. We'd expected a certain degree of hairiness in setting the terms with the management company's broker, but what we were dealing with was beyond the pale. Last minute increases, asking us to sign documents without viewing the apartment, it was a mess. We consulted with Matt, and he promptly cut through the BS and got us the apartment at the terms we'd sought - and agreed to - originally. I strongly encourage anyone looking for an apartment in New York to reach out to Matt."
