Jake Russell joins John Harrison as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson bringing a unique perspective to the New York City real estate market. As a Texas broker for the last four years, Jake worked with Magnolia Realty bringing the television show Fixer Upper to fame. In his capacity as the Director of Real Estate, Jake was involved with many remodel projects and has a strong ability to see opportunity where others see a problem.
Jake’s degree in Entrepreneurship laid the foundation for his approach to sales and marketing. He treats every new listing like starting a new business with respect to defining a target market, contextualizing the competitors and determining what will make it stand out. Jake’s small town Texas roots make his clients feel comfortable and at ease during any real estate transaction. In his spare time Jake loves to barbecue, explore new flea markets throughout Brooklyn and research unconventional investment strategies.
