Case Study: Walker Tower

OUR CHALLENGE

Designed by Ralph Thomas Walker and built in 1929, this building was originally constructed to house New York City’s telecommunications nerve center and was previously known as the Verizon building. In its conversion to a luxury condominium, our challenge was to present an uber-luxury product in a neighborhood that had never supported a building of this caliber before, as well as to advise on layouts that appeal to buyers and overcome the building’s uncommonly deep floorplates.
