One of the industry’s brightest young stars, Jarrod Guy Randolph, joined CORE earlier this spring, and last night he received his proper welcome. The setting was the beautiful penthouse at Blue, the Bernard Tschumi-designed tower on the Lower East Side, and the occasion was not only a celebration of Randolph coming to CORE, but also a salute to his inclusion on the Forbes “30 Under 30” list in the Real Estate category. David Letterman gets my top prize for Top Ten Lists.

I guess the wise old owl who once told me that “no matter who you are, there is always someone better or worse off than you” was wrong…if you’re lucky enough to be Number 1!
