Bio
Ryan brings a unique combination of experience, integrity and real-world knowledge to his work. As a former Wall Street analyst with a focus on urban planning as well as a lifelong New Yorker, Ryan has a thorough knowledge of the buildings and neighborhoods that make this city a global Mecca for tourism and industry as well as for families and artists. His understanding of individual neighborhoods and what makes them special –great restaurants, public schools, urban gardens, and quiet blocks – is unsurpassed.
His background in real estate finance and community development, as well as his academic background in finance, urban planning and design, gives Ryan a solid skill base and multifaceted knowledge that benefit his clients. Ryan received an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University. As a Director at Standard & Poor's, Ryan honed his analytical and deal-making skills as the lead consultant on multi-billion dollar real estate debt financings. He also spent five years working in non-profit community development and urban planning. Raised on the Upper East Side and a long-time resident of Chelsea, Ryan has also lived and studied abroad and speaks French fluently.
Ryan’s national and international clientele seek Ryan for his organization, work ethic and strategic approach. Ryan understands and, more importantly, can succinctly explain to his customers the relative benefits of condo and coop ownership as well as the unique financial calculus that the market requires. A top performer at CORE, Ryan is trustworthy, professional and a real pro – a rare set of characteristics among brokers.
