Bio
A gifted salesman with a sharp eye for style and value, Kirk has been advising his clients on design, decoration, and property for almost two decades. As a sought-after interior designer in the early 1990s, Kirk worked with clients in New York, London, California, and Florida. When he transitioned to real estate, he remained dedicated to the principle of personal service, bringing his clients design excellence at the best values. In 1996, Kirk joined a prominent Manhattan real estate brokerage, focusing his talents and energies on assisting the buyers and sellers of some of the city's most prestigious properties. In his first ten years in the business, he worked with several prominent New York families; closed deals at desired addresses such as 1085 Fifth Avenue, The Chatham, 930 Fifth Avenue, 70 East 10th Street, and 66 Charles Street, which broke a West Village record for price per square foot; and generated more than a quarter of a billion dollars in sales. In 2005, when successful hotelier and lifestyle guru Ian Schrager set his sights on the residential real estate market, he chose Kirk as his Director of Sales. At 50 Gramercy Park, a twenty-three unit leasehold co-operative, with services and amenities provided by the renowned Gramercy Park Hotel, Kirk beat the sales projections by more than 30%. At 40 Bond, a twenty-eight unit condominium designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, creators of the Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing, Kirk helped to secure sales exceeding $2,500 per square foot, with more than 80% of the units sold within fifteen months. Never content to rest on his laurels, Kirk is tireless in his passion for real estate, continuing to pursue the most exclusive properties and most discerning clients. Real estate, he says, isn't work; it is an opportunity to listen, learn and deliver.
