Bio
Nancy Whitehurst serves as Executive Project Manager. Nancy leads CORE's strategic initiatives and manages all aspects of long-term company projects from the early stages of planning to each project’s successful completion. In this role, Nancy oversees all details necessary to transform into reality the unique concepts designed to continue CORE’s evolution as Manhattan’s top boutique real estate brokerage. Nancy also plays an integral role in CORE's growth by overseeing the design and build out of all executive and retail offices, including the brokerage's new Flatiron headquarters and the future Upper East Side location.
Nancy most recently served as CORE’s Chief New Development Officer where she oversaw all aspects of each of CORE’s New Development projects from implementation to sellout as well as internal growth of the department. Nancy joined CORE as Executive Director of Operations where she implemented all the processes that make CORE run as effectively as it does today. Throughout the course of her career, Nancy gained extensive project management and operations experience from a variety of different industries including strategic communications, business consulting and design, in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. This depth and range of experience allows her to effectively lead strategic business initiatives at CORE.
Previously, Nancy served as Chief Operating Officer of Krislyn Productions, a luxury design and event production company based in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Nancy was a Vice President of the New York-based corporate communications firm, Robinson, Lerer and Montgomery, where she led public relations efforts for Fortune 100 companies including a role as interim head of Communications at Revlon, assisting the CEO of United Airlines during their bankruptcy proceedings as well as managing a New York Times investigation, and resulting Senate Sub-committee hearings, of a major healthcare company.
Nancy was raised in Connecticut and received her degree from Northwestern University. She resides in Chelsea.
